As a home stager, this starts with an understanding of the other team member’s roles; and having the ability to speak with confidence regarding how you can help to create this partnership. When a Realtor® reaches out to a home stager, they often may be doing so without REALLY knowing how we can assist them in achieving a profitable outcome for them, and their client’s. In order to do this, home stagers need to have a basic understanding of the real estate cycle, and the functions performed by a real estate agent/broker. A real estate agent has one goal in mind, to market their client’s home in the best way possible in order to attract as many interested potential QUALIFIED buyers as possible. By doing so, they hope to find just the “right’ buyer for that home. Does this sound familiar?
